Meet Sandy! She is a sweet and curious lab mix who was born in August 2023.
Sandy is very friendly and affectionate. Though she may be shy at first when meeting new people and dogs, she warms up quickly, revealing her cuddly nature! She is especially good with other smaller dogs and children, making her an ideal companion for any household that will welcome a larger dog. Sandy loves snuggling and her favorite activity is curling up next to her friends.
Sandy's playful spirit and loving heart make every moment with her a joy. Adopting Sandy means welcoming a bundle of affection into your life, promising endless cuddles and heartwarming companionship!
Sandy knows basic commands, is crate trained and housebroken. She has recently been surrendered by her first adopter as they cannot handle her size along with their other dog. Sandy is looking for a new home with someone who wants a large gentle, loyal and loving companion. Don't let her size fool you, she just wants to cuddle up next to her favorite people and pet companions. Please give her a second chance at the happy life she deserves.

Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue is a 501C (3) all volunteer animal rescue organization based in Central NJ. Our mission is centered on the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and puppies from dire situations. The main focal point of our organization is to rescue canines from high kill shelters and place them in foster care until a permanent home is found. We rely on donations from the general public in order to operate. Our concentration on awareness is very important as we realize it is key in preventing millions of pets from being euthanized each year. In addition to our main mission, we also focus on other areas, Community involvement and education offering programs on pet care, importance of pet alteration, school speakers/community meetings on animal care, junior volunteer program and community service hours for youth ages 10 and above. We assist families with options that will allow them to keep their pets due to a temporary financial hardship which include temporary foster care for their pet, assistance with finding pet friendly housing and providing food and supplies to care for their pets. Training and rehabilitation with rescue dogs and families wishing to surrender their pets for issues that can be worked with.
